Frequently asked questions
Do I need a photo booth for the Event Photo Gallery?
No. The Event Photo Gallery is a standalone product. Guests can upload phone photos and videos by QR code. Content from a photo booth or other SnapShotBox products can be added as well.
Do guests need to install an app or create an account?
No. Access and uploads work directly in the browser by QR code or link. A guest account is not required.
Who can see the photos and videos?
The gallery is not publicly listed. Guests need the link and password. Visibility can also be controlled by content source. Guest uploads can remain private so only the organiser sees them.
Can I restrict downloads?
Yes. Downloads of individual files and the combined ZIP download can be enabled or disabled separately.
Are guest uploads reviewed before publication?
No, there is no automatic approval process. If guest uploads should not be immediately visible to others, they can remain private. The organiser can then delete and manage content in the customer portal.
Can I delete individual files?
Yes. Organisers can delete content, review it in the recycle bin and restore it. Guests can remove their own uploads during their active session.
What is Face Scan ID?
Face Scan ID is optional face search for large galleries. It starts only after the guest's explicit consent and age confirmation. It can remain fully disabled and uses a limited configurable deletion period.
How long does the gallery stay available?
The Event Photo Gallery remains available for 12 months after the event by default. It can be extended on request.
Can I adapt the gallery to my event?
Yes. The title, welcome message, cover image, section names and order can be adapted. White-label branding is also available for companies.
Can I book a standalone gallery without other products?
Yes. We set up the Event Photo Gallery for the event. No photo booth, mirror or other hardware is required.
