What a flip book does at your event
Flipbook booth rental: real flip books, made live at your event
How your flip book is made
Five seconds of movement in front of the camera, and about three minutes later you are holding a book of roughly 60 frames. Thumb on the edge, flip through, and the scene runs again. We print, cut and bind every flip book right at your event while your guests watch.
Recording

Two ways to a flip book
Most guests last held a flip book as a child. Nobody needs it explained, and almost nobody has seen one made at a party.
Classic, from a video clip
The station works in the open: you step onto a small stage for the shot, then printing, cutting and binding all happen in full view. The first flip-through happens immediately, usually followed by a second one for the person standing next to you.
From a photo, animated with AI
What stays behind is an object rather than a link: something you pass around and rediscover on your desk weeks later.
with the AI features of the photo booth
Five seconds for your scene. Dancing, silly faces, a kiss, a jump, the whole table. Our team directs it so nobody just stares into the lens.
Cover, logo, date
The clip becomes around 60 individual frames, printed straight away. The strip comes out of the printer where everyone can see it.
Flip book or GIF?
The strip is trimmed to 5.5 × 8.5 cm, the personalised cover goes on top, and the book is bound by hand. The making is part of the show, not waiting time behind a curtain.
Flip book
After about three minutes the guest is handed their book in person, plus the scene as a short clip in the online gallery.

Date already set? Send us the date and venue and we check availability
The booth records the scene and the book is made from it. Whatever happens in front of the camera flips along later.
Not everyone wants to perform in front of an audience. For them a normal photo is turned into movement: the portrait starts to smile, the head turns. It works with quiet guests, older relatives and children. Both routes run side by side on the same evening.
The cover is what turns the flip book into a keepsake: names and date for weddings, company logo and claim for corporate events and trade shows, a motto or event name for everything in between, matching the layout of your photo booth prints.
Wedding, birthday or company party? Send us your key details and we will put together an offer
You get moving images as a GIF too, the GIF function is part of every booth we rent. The question is not which looks better, but what is left afterwards. Two weeks later the GIF sits under three hundred other clips in the camera roll, while the book sits visibly on the kitchen table. So we do both: the book for the hand, the clip for the phone.
Best during the reception drinks or while you are away for couple portraits. The finished books travel across the tables, and with names and date on the cover the flip book doubles as your guest favour.
Colleagues perform together, usually bolder than in front of a still camera. The book ends up on a desk because the rest of the office wants to see it.
A station that visibly produces something draws people to your stand. The cover is advertising space nobody throws away.
Tell us your guest count and time slot and we will tell you how many books fit
A flip book takes longer than a photo print, because printing, cutting and binding happen book by book. One station produces around 20 books per hour.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the recorded scene?
Five seconds. That gives around 60 frames, which make up your flip book.
How long does one book take?
About three minutes from recording to handover. One station manages roughly 20 books per hour.
How big is a flip book?
5.5 × 8.5 cm, so it fits in the palm of your hand.
Do we get the recordings digitally as well?
Yes, every scene is also available as a short clip in your online gallery.
Can our guests make the books themselves?
No, this station is always staffed. Cutting and binding are done by hand, and the direction in front of the camera decides the result.
Can our logo or wedding date go on the cover?
Yes. We design the cover to match your photo booth layout and need the artwork no later than 14 days beforehand.
What if guests do not want to move in front of the camera?
Then we take a photo and animate it with AI. The result is the same flip book.
What do you need on site?
A covered area of 2 × 2 metres and one 230 V connection with two sockets. We handle setup and takedown.
