1. Inquiry and design
Tell us the date, the venue and the occasion. Together we decide what the start screen looks like and whether your guests get a guiding question. If you like, we provide a set of questions as a QR code that sits next to the station at your event. We need those decisions no later than 14 days before your event.
2. Shipped, not installed
The video guestbook is a shipped product: it arrives by post in good time, and shipping is already included in the price. If you book the video guestbook feature with the photo mirror or photo booth instead, it arrives with the device and our team sets it up.
3. Your guests record
Guests simply walk up and record a personal message, alone, in pairs or as a whole table. If anything is unclear, you can reach us around the clock.
4. Recordings and highlight edit
After the event you send the station back. You receive every single recording plus a finished highlight edit in your online download area.

What exactly is a video guestbook?
A dedicated station at your celebration where guests record a video message for you. Picture and sound in one take, spoken straight to camera, in Full HD (1080p). It is not a shared folder for phone clips. You get it as a standalone station by post or as a feature on the photo mirror and photo booth.
How long can a video message be?
As long as the guest wants to talk. There is no fixed time limit: your guests start the recording, speak and finish when they are done.
How good is the sound?
Recordings are made with a standard microphone. That is perfectly fine for understandable video messages at normal volume, but it is deliberately not studio equipment. If you expect particularly high-end audio, the video guestbook is the wrong product.
How many messages will we get?
That honestly varies from event to event and cannot be predicted. There is no fixed limit on recordings, and we do not promise a minimum number either. What you always get: every single recording plus a highlight edit.
What do you need on site?
Nothing. The station needs no power socket and no Wi-Fi or network. It is simply set down and runs. As a standalone station the video guestbook is shipped to you, and shipping is already included in the price. As a feature on the photo mirror or photo booth, it arrives with the device and our team sets it up.
When do we get the videos?
Within 7 days of the event at the latest, usually considerably sooner. You receive every single recording plus a finished highlight edit in your online download area.
How is it different from the audio guestbook?
With the audio guestbook, guests leave a voice message; with the video guestbook you get the picture as well. Many people speak more freely into a microphone, so with a very mixed guest list the audio guestbook often gets more people involved. The video guestbook delivers recordings with more depth: expression, gesture, eye contact. We rent both, tell us who is celebrating with you and we will tell you which one fits.
Is this the same as the 360° video booth?
No. The 360° video booth does not record messages, it orbits a camera around guests standing on a 115 cm platform and turns that into a short slow-motion clip for instant sharing. The video guestbook is a station for personal messages.
What if our guests are camera-shy?
That is the most common objection, and a fair one: more people hesitate in front of a lens than in front of a microphone. 3 things help. First, placement, off the main thoroughfare, where half the room is not watching. Second, a specific question rather than an open invitation, which is exactly what our optional QR code question set is for. Third, allow groups. Recording in twos and threes is a much lower hurdle for many guests, and those recordings often turn out to be the best ones. If you expect a genuinely reserved crowd, the audio guestbook may be the better fit, and we will say so.
Can we combine it with a photo booth?
Yes, and that is the most common booking. There are 2 ways: the standalone station is shipped and sits quietly beside the photo booth. Or you add the video guestbook feature directly to the photo mirror or photo booth, in which case it arrives with the device and our team sets it up. The video guestbook is included in the VIP and Gold packages, and can be added to any other.
